Good morning. Remember that collective action is the most effective way to support Palestine - and it really does work.

LEARN. Watch this episode (on Youtube) of the “Bad Faith Podcast” with host Briahna Joy Gray. Gray is a journalist with great integrity, who was recently fired from The Hill for insisting on reporting the truth about the genocide in Gaza. Her guest on this episode, Shir Hever of the BDS Movement talks about how the Israeli economy may be close to collapse - which is a purely financial reason not to invest in the state of Israel - and provides an explainer on how we can verify that boycotts against the Israeli government are working.

NOTICE. This episode is more than an hour long. What was difficult or easy for you about making the time to watch or listen? What surprised you about the information you learned? How do you feel knowing you are a part of collective action that is working towards a free Palestine?

Shades of Anger was created by a global collective of women to raise awareness and inspire action to free Palestine. We chose the name of our collective to honor the poem, “Shades of Anger,” by Palestinian-Canadian poet Rafeef Ziadah. We also believe in liberation for Sudan, the Congo, Haiti, and all places where systems of oppression are causing immense suffering and crushing the life out humans. We are led by women of the Global Majority/BIPOC. Shades of Anger is for everyone who wants to act for liberation and you can learn more about it here.

The last is a person wearing a kuffiyeh around their head, and a black and red dress, looking at the camera while holding up a Palestinian flag and a peace sign.
