Teach for Palestine
Shades of Anger, April 2, 2024
April 2, 2024
Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 3, is our weekly Shades of Anger online community meetup. We’ll be focusing on activating folks to liberate the children of Palestine. Sign up here and bring your friends.
Every single day is a good day to take action for Palestinian children. Here are our recommendations for today.
LEARN. In honor of the children of Palestine, get familiar with “Teach for Palestine,” this amazing resource with learning and teaching resources for people of all ages. Teach for Palestine describes the project as “A ‘casita’ full of resources about Palestinian history, culture, and the ongoing genocide. Centering Palestinian voices, curated & fact checked by educators & community members.”
NOTICE. What do you appreciate about the way the organizers of this project make it easy for you to find a resource for your specific need?
ACT. Since this Friday, April 5, is Palestinian Children’s Day, pick one of the collections about children on the Teach for Palestine homepage. Follow the recommendation for learning the material. Reply to this email to tell us what you learned!
SHARE. Forward this email to at least 5 friends, family members or colleagues, with an urgent plea to learn about the children of Palestine and act alongside you for their liberation.
ASK. Why do you think it’s hard to get people to talk about the horrendous living conditions being forced on the children of Gaza? Reply to this email or leave a comment to tell us. We’re here to listen and help you act.
In solidarity for liberation for Palestine,
Kay Coughlin, on behalf of the Shades of Anger collective
P.S. Have you signed up for our weekly Shades of Anger online sessions to activate you to be an advocate for Palestine? It’s urgent - please sign up today!
Shades of Anger was created by a global collective of women to raise awareness and inspire action to free Palestine. We also believe in liberation for Sudan, the Congo, Haiti, and all places where systems of oppression are causing immense suffering and crushing the life out humans. We are led by women of the Global Majority/BIPOC. Shades of Anger is for everyone who wants to act for liberation and you can learn more about it here.
