Speaking up leads to collective action

Good morning! Always remember: YOU can take action to help liberate the people of Palestine, every day.

LEARN. It’s up to each and every one of us to take steps that lead to collective action! And every step counts. We’re extremely grateful to Animah Kosai, one of the leaders of our Shades of Anger team, for creating the “How do we talk to our leaders at work about Palestine?” booklet, below and here.

NOTICE. Picture yourself speaking up not merely as one single lonely voice, but as one voice among countless others across the world. What changes for you when you realize you’re not alone, but are a member of a giant chorus of people speaking out in solidarity?

ACT. Choose one situation or relationship where you can speak up - and then do it!

SHARE. Right now, forward this email to three people you know who have big hearts and might be open to talking with you about Palestine. Be courageous - borrow courage from our collective if you need to!

ASK. What resources do your friends and colleagues need to help them speak up about Palestine, too? Reply to this email to let us know.

In solidarity for liberation for Palestine,

Kay Coughlin, on behalf of the Shades of Anger collective

Shades of Anger was created by a global collective of women to raise awareness and inspire action to free Palestine. We also believe in liberation for Sudan, the Congo, Haiti, and all places where systems of oppression are causing immense suffering and crushing the life out humans. We are led by women of the Global Majority/BIPOC. Shades of Anger is for everyone who wants to act for liberation and you can learn more about it here.
