#NotAnotherDime for Universities (May 3, 2024 post)

Shades of Anger

May 3, 2024

Good morning! Important reminder: YOUR voice matters to universities when it comes to the fight for Palestinian rights.

LEARN. Take a look at the brand-new #NotAnotherDime campaign led by the abolition group Here4TheKids.

NOTICE. What connections do you have with universities in your neighborhood or around the world? Are they suppressing students’ right to protest for Palestinians, or are they ignoring/dismissing the students’ demands to divest from Israeli interests?

ACT. Join the #NotAnotherDime campaign and tell universities that you do not want them supporting Israel because of the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

SHARE. Right now, send this email to 5 people who need to use their voices to support university students in their demonstrations for Palestine.

ASK. What do you think of universities who refuse to divest from Israeli interests, and instead choose to be complicit in genocide? Reply to this email to let us know.

In solidarity for liberation for Palestine,

Kay Coughlin, on behalf of the Shades of Anger collective

Shades of Anger was created by a global collective of women to raise awareness and inspire action to free Palestine. We also believe in liberation for Sudan, the Congo, Haiti, and all places where systems of oppression are causing immense suffering and crushing the life out humans. We are led by women of the Global Majority/BIPOC. Shades of Anger is for everyone who wants to act for liberation and you can learn more about it here.
