Good morning! TODAY, Nakba Day, take action for Palestine. Tomorrow, you can spend time learning if you want.
LEARN. Look at these images from Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor and get angry about the intentional destruction of human life in Gaza!

NOTICE. Get angry! Are you angry yet? If not, look at the images above (from Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor on Instagram) again. Are you angry now? Good! Feel the anger. Feel how it’s entwined with grief, outrage, horror and betrayal!
ACT. Find and participate in at least one Nakba Day action in your area! There are actions planned around the world to occur over the next several days. Contact local friends who will know what’s planned, go to your social media or do a search in any browser. If you are in the UK, you can participate in the Workplace Action being organized by Palestinian Solidarity Campaign (click here or on the image above). No matter where you are, wear your keffiyeh! Share about the Nakba on social media. If you can’t find an action in your area, just do it by yourself - use a fat marker to make a sign that reads “Free Palestine,” grab a friend if you can, and find a busy streetcorner to stand on and yell until you are hoarse!
SHARE. Right now, send this email to 15 people you know who should learn about and act for Palestine this week. We ALL need to be angry about the inhumanity that Palestinians have been forced to live with since the Israeli occupation first started to get serious in 1948!
ASK. What else do you want to learn about the Nakba? Please reply to this email (or, if you are reading this online, leave a comment below) to let us know.*
In solidarity for Palestinian liberation,
Kay Coughlin, on behalf of the Shades of Anger collective
P.S. Please join us for one of our free weekly community sessions. Register by going here and click on the “register for community sessions” link in the top menu bar.
*You can also continue the conversation with us in the Speaking Up Network, a private social media platform co-created by Animah Kosai, one of the leaders of Shades of Anger.
Shades of Anger was created by a global collective of women to raise awareness and inspire action to free Palestine. We also believe in liberation for Sudan, the Congo, Haiti, and all places where systems of oppression are causing immense suffering and crushing the life out humans. We are led by women of the Global Majority/BIPOC. Shades of Anger is for everyone who wants to act for liberation and you can learn more about it here.
