A Hit on Journalists in Northern Gaza
Shades of Anger, November 5, 2024
November 5, 2024
Good morning. Remember that every day is a good day to take action in support of Palestinian liberation.
LEARN. Read this article from Al Jazeera discussing the false Isra/eli claims that 6 of its journalists in Northern Gaza are part of Hamas. In other words, they published a “kill list” of journalists to stop their reporting on the vile crimes they are committing in North Gaza (and throughout Palestine). Check out this post from Writers Against the War on Gaza.
Post on IG from @wawog_now. Red background with a yellow banner that says “URGENT! URGENT! URGENT!” and sharing a tweet from the IOF of their hitlist. In white text it says “Who will protect them?”
NOTICE. What do you feel when reading this? Do you want to scream? To cry? Do you feel numb?
ACT. Reach out to a local, regional, or national news organization and get them to speak up and speak out against this. Do so on your own, with friends, or with a local group (or even bigger).
SHARE. Forward this to five people and ask them to take the same action.
ASK. What other kinds of actions do you want to take but need more information about to start? Please reply to this email (or, if you are reading this online, leave a comment below) to let us know.*
In solidarity for Palestinian liberation,

Shades of Anger was created by a global collective of women to raise awareness and inspire action to free Palestine. We chose the name of our collective to honor the poem, “Shades of Anger,” by Palestinian-Canadian poet Rafeef Ziadah. We also believe in liberation for Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Haiti, and all places where systems of oppression are causing immense suffering and crushing the life out humans. We are led by women of the Global Majority/BIPOC. Shades of Anger is for everyone who wants to act for liberation and you can learn more about it here.
