Welcome to Shades of Anger daily action alerts for the liberation of Palestine!

These action alerts are produced by the Shades of Anger collective. We are a group of women representing worldwide cultures. Each day, we will offer recommendations for you to do five things: learn, notice, act, share, and ask. Please do your best to engage with all five, every day. This is not about trying to be perfect; rather, we’re encouraging you to make it a daily habit to take action for the cause of human rights for all people.

For the time being, our recommendations will be focused on English-language resources, or resources that have been translated into English. Our intention is to send emails by 7 am EET/Gaza time.

Always remember: YOU can take action every day to help liberate Palestine. Here are our recommendations to welcome you into taking daily action with us.

LEARN. Watch the poem by Rafeef Ziadah that inspired us to name our liberation collective “Shades of Anger,” here.

Image description: screenshot from YouTube of Rafeef Ziadah performing her poem, “Shades of Anger.” She is a light-skinned woman with an intense expression on her face, straight brown shoulder-length hair, and is wearing a short-sleeved blouse with many patterns on it.

NOTICE. What do you feel when you watch the performance of the poem, or engage with any person who is suffering because of the ongoing genocide in Gaza?

ACT. Make a donation to Project Humanise here whose work is at the heart of the Shades of Anger collective.

SHARE. Right now, forward this page to one person you know or talk to one person about Palestine.

ASK. What questions come up for you as you think about Palestine? Email your questions to Kay @ FacilitatorOnFire .net

Shades of Anger was created by a global collective of women to raise awareness and inspire action to free Palestine. We also believe in liberation for Sudan, the Congo, Haiti, and all places where systems of oppression are causing immense suffering and crushing the life out humans. We are led by women of the Global Majority/BIPOC. Shades of Anger is for everyone who wants to act for liberation and you can learn more about it here.
